The gang that tied the hands and feet of the people in the house and robbed them was arrested

The Atthibele police have arrested a gang that was robbing the houses by tying the hands and feet of the occupants.

The arrested accused have been identified as N Satish Kumar, Manikanthan, Satish, Ayyanar, Kiran, Satish alias Matan Satish. The accused hail from Hosur in Tamil Nadu.

The arrested were involved in several theft cases. They used to go and rob when people were in the house.

On November 28 last year, the house of Devarajegowda, an LIC agent, was robbed at Kumar Layout in Attibele. The Asamis had come to the house two or three times to get an LIC policy, then when Devaraj Gowda and his wife Manju were in their house, they showed handguns and put cello tape on their hands, feet and mouth and robbed them of gold jewelery and money worth around 12,50,000.

11 lakhs in respect of three cases in total. Valuable gold jewelery has been seized by the police.
